77asdfasdf
Welcome to this article, which has been optimized for the keywords , asdfasdf, asdfghjkl, asdfjkl, and especially the long but beautiful asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl. This might sound like a bunch of garbage, but most likely this article is going to get the most traffic out of any of my other hubs. However, I must give credit where credit is due: david lenz of www.davidlenz.com has done this before, and has remarked at how much traffic he has received as a result of creating one simple page optimized for asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl. It is my goal that whenever someone types the aforementioned string of letters in Google, asdfasdf, asdfghjkl, or asdfjkl, they will land on this page.
You might wonder why anyone would ever search for those letter phrases, but there is a very simple answer. Firstly, asdfghjkl are the letters on the "home row" of the standard keyboard. Typing any combination of those letters can make quite a few words. However, have you ever gone to Google, itching to search for something, but you are just quite unsure what to search for, so you get board, hit some keys, and hit enter? You probably have, because it happens thousands of times a day. In fact, asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl is the first auto-complete phrase in the drop down box when you type asd - which is strange, but means it is the most popular search for those three simple letters. Further down the list are asdfghjkl, asdfasdf, asdfjkl what does it mean, and a few other phrases. While creating a page based around those keywords has been done before, I have not seen any pages written for all of those phrases, nor have I seen any page truly optimized for this content.

This hub is more of an experiment than anything else, and I am not optimizing it to be popular amongst members of hubpages. It might be a failure, but based on everything I have learned about making money by optimizing traffic flow to hubs or articles, this should be quite successful. I have learned that it takes approximately 2-3 months until the search engines truly find content and start sending traffic toward specific new pages. However, there are not many "true" competitors for asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl, nor are there many true competitors for the phrases asdfasdf, asdfghjkl, asdfjkl, or asdfjkl what does it mean. Let me talk about this a little more.
When I speak of a "true competitor," I am talking about pages that are keyword optimized and really created around specific keywords and phrases. Again, there is even a website with asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl .com as the URL, but it is not #1 in the search results because it is not optimized properly. For instance, while they may have included that phrase is the meta tags or keyword engine of their website, they don't truly mention the phrase enough for it to count as a true keyword. On this hub, I am not allowed to enter that complete phrase as a keyword, but I still expect this hub to do quite well based on the fact that I have utilized that keyword in the URL, I have created a header for the keyword, and I have mentioned the keyword several times more than the other pages have. This means that this page will be slightly more keyword optimized for asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl, asdfasdf, asdfghjkl, and asdfjkl. However, there is also a major inherent flaw.
asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl
While this page might be more keyword optimized in comparison to the other sites, this is a new article which is attempting to compete with established winners. Most likely, this hub will never be number one in the search engines for any of the keywords I have optimized it for, but it should rank quite high. It is very difficult to challenge established websites for a top ranking position. Furthermore, since there are not many websites that utilize these keywords, Google might want to treat this article as duplicate content. This is why I have written as much as I have about the keywords asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl, asdfasdf, and asdfjkl what does it mean because I am attempting to make sure I have enough content to not seem like a mere ripoff. There are countless phrases and keywords that are similar to these, and are searched for quite frequently in the search engines. I have simply decided to write about the ones I see the most.
I could have written a hub about the popular Google phrase "Why won't my parakeet eat my diarrhea," but it is my opinion that enough pages have pointed out this Google flaw, and that this key phrase is just disgusting. Can you imagine what I would have had to write to try and answer this question?
asdfjkl what does it mean
I want to end this hub by saying that I know this is not a Pulitzer Prize winning masterpiece, nor is it the greatest example of keyword optimization I have ever written, or has ever been demonstrated. I have not written this hub with the intention of teaching anyone of HubPages anything other than how a little creativity might yield some results, and why pointless keywords like asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl can be very important. To be honest, I'm kind of hoping this hub isn't discovered much at first by HubPages members, because it is likely to be rated down for writing about gobbledygook. In a few months, I will know whether or not this hub has accomplished it's purpose: ranking high in the search engines for a commonly searched-for keyword and drawing traffic to this page. Over time, this could become my most valuable hub, which would be quite hilarious to me, since it has taken me little research to write and so little time to author. Don't pass judgment because I am attempting this - if it is foolish, I will know that by the lack of traffic.
One last note, if you like this idea and want to try it, use different keywords than the ones I used for the simple reason that writing a long hub or article about asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl will probably end up very similar to this one and if you have ever noticed how HubPages articles show up in Google, you will see that you actually have to click a link to see "more results from HubPages." Just go to Google and start typing random letters, and you will find quite a few strange things to write about that have yet to be truly optimized by other websites.

Mmmm that is quite a bit of useful information. Anything to put a penny into the collection box. Thank you.
I like your style. One drawback in some places is that if you want to upload your rss link with this article in, it may be rejected because of typing mistakes. But since you are only testing to see the results on Google (the only search engine worth optimising for) this may not be an issue for you. I thought it might be worth mentioning for your readers to understand the small possibility of a downside.
Your article does raise a very good point though. Searches for misspellings are ever increasing. Where you might not reach the top of search engines for the word "Google" you may do for "Gougle" or "Gooogle" or ......
Pefect (sic) spelling is not necessarily the best for your search engine traffic.
I'm sure you could write an article about this. I would but I have a number of other projects on the go at the moment.
Please give us updates on how this hub fares.
So there are about 246K searches a month for asdfghjkl, with projected CPC of 54 cents. So if people are typing this in out of boredom, are they really going to check out the returns, AND click on ads?
I agree with the last commenter. What, exactly, is the point of being at or near the top of the search engines for a keyword phrase that pays zilch? What advertiser is going to want to pay good money to reach an audience of lazy or illiterate people? If YOU were an AdWords advertiser, how much would YOU bid for this keyword phrase?
I like your sense of adventure and experimentation. It will be interesting to see the results of this experiment. I thought the hub was well written and presented information on an interesting facet of keyword optimization as well as being a mini-lesson on how to optimize a hub for keywords.
Interesting hub. Optimization takes time and all I want to do is write! But I do understand how important traffic is, so thanks for the heads up.
LOL nice optimization and very original hub!
wow, something so simple could make you some good money, great hub howtoguru.. Hope it goes well for you.. keep hubbing..
Very gracious response. I appreciate that.
I'm impressed by the power of the absurd. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, howtoguru! It's a matter of what one's objective is, of course - but I wouldn't disparage anyone's. I'll look forward to any future results hubs you post about it!
Hilariously awesome...I cracked up over this one. I love that you've experimented here, there's no harm in trying. It's how we learn. Keep writing and I will keep reading.
how has it worked? Did it get the most traffic? I did notice oone thing for sure on my hubs and that is what you said at about three months if a hub is going to get traffic it will happen around that time. Still keeping an eye on your stuff!!!! Thanks for all of you help

Hmmm . . . intriguing. Please provide an update on this method's success.
Thanks for giving an update on how this hub is doing in the search engines.
I'm just wondering if there's a company called asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl Ltd. And if so...how this slipped under the radar!
I enjoyed this hub very much. Despite the tongue in cheek I think you point out how important keywords are and how they are used!
I'd consider 365 views a success depending on how much work you put on it(writing and backlinking).
Hell, I clicked on it just to see what the $&%! would posess one to name a site asdfetc... It's the trainwreck theory of good marketing! Morbid curiosity always prevails... Good thinking, mate! Hard to find relevant subject matter, though...
Howtoguru 365 page view, really? This hub is more successful than few of my hubs though I did keyword research using Market samurai.
Probably because it's free version of market samurai :)
Interesting way of thinking... :)
Thank you for sharing!
Cheers,
Nikipa
Well, here's to one more!

Very interesting experiment.
Judging by the results, it didn't work as you expected?
As a curiosity it is a very interesting idea.
Maybe those Google bots aren't as dumb as we assume?
You got another view form me. It does attract consistent if low views. It would be interesting to see the stats and how many come from search over other methods.
I really enjoyed reading this and found it fascinating. Thanks for sharing this idea.
I just checked out google for similar "keywords" like yours and I was surprised how many websites optimized for them exist :) There are also domain names like www.asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl.com and similar. Nice domain, easy to remember :)
Awesome, very interesting and unique article. Thanks for writing.
